Frequently asked questions
How much does concrete cutting cost?
Price depends on the method, the depth and thickness, how much cutting there is and how easy the site is to get to. A single core through a 150 mm slab is a very different job to a wall-sawn lift opening. Send a photo and a measurement and we'll quote it properly rather than guessing over the phone.
Do you cut concrete for homeowners as well as builders?
Yes. A lot of our work is commercial and civil, but we regularly cut new doorways and windows, core holes for services, saw driveway crossovers and cut control joints for homeowners and owner-builders.
How much mess does concrete cutting make?
Far less than most people expect. Almost everything we run is wet cut, which suppresses dust at the blade. The by-product is slurry rather than airborne dust, and we contain and remove it.
Do you scan before you cut?
On suspended slabs and post-tensioned decks, always. We offer concrete scanning and ground penetrating radar so we know where the reinforcement and services are before anything is cut.
